the two out-of-scope vhosts stopped writing visitor addresses, so ADR 0087s residue stops saying they keep gaining them: 1632 gave the two loot vhosts an address-free format and a path scrub and the other two vhost writers in the scripts repo never got it, so the relay and the millerbyte gateway wrote nginx default combined with a full address per line. both now install the same edge logging (scripts fda8f93), deployed today: the directive went into all 2 server blocks on each, was 0 on both, and each deploy verified no address in its own log. the millerbyte gateway nests resources under Mongo ObjectIds, so one rule written for the shape of an id scrubs them to a route shape and the boxs own probe proved it fired, while the relay needs no scrub because its URLs are fixed nouns and its keys and repo names travel in bodies nginx never logs. retention is the box-wide 30 days both already inherited. the residue bullet also records that they are logged and deliberately NOT counted, declared with reasons in NOT_A_METRICS_SOURCE, because 1779s guard asserted every provisioned vhost is a metrics source and this makes that false by design (#1642) a04311b6 · dbf3dbe6…
Renames are not followed. loot's tree maps a path to an address, so a rename is a delete and an add. This list is the history of the name, not of the bytes.
